Seventh-place outing in Northeast finale with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Brian Shirley and the Bob Cullen Racing team traveled to the Northeast with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, kicking off a three-race stretch with their first stop at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway on Friday evening.
With just under 30 Late Models on site, Shirley finished third in his heat race and ran just one spot out of a Top-10 in 11th in the $21,049-to-win feature.
Saturday's show at BAPS Motor Speedway (York Haven, Pa.) was weathered out.
On Sunday night, Shirley closed out the three-day swing with his best run at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway in the Conococheague 40. Brian started fifth and finished seventh in the 40-lap main event.
