Brian Shirley opens up 2026 season at Screven Motor Speedway

After losing the $5,000 opener on Thursday evening, Brian Shirley was one of 32 Super Late Model drivers at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Friday night for the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series season opener.

Shirley picked up a heat race win and started third on the grid for the $10,000-to-win feature. Unfortunately, Brian lost an engine during the feature and did not return to the track on Saturday.
