Brian Shirley grabs sixth-place finish in Knoxville Nationals with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series

Brian Shirley and the Bob Cullen Motorsports bunch joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in the state of Iowa at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway for the 21st-annual Knoxville Nationals.

Shirley finished 23rd in the rain-shortened opener on Thursday night before picking up the pace on Friday evening where he landed a Top-10 finish in seventh. Brian started 10th in the $75,000-to-win finale and made up four positions over the 75-lap feature and finished sixth.
