Fifth-place finish for Brian Shirley in Bayou Classic at Boothill Speedway
The Bob Cullen Racing team loaded up for the last weekend of the regular season and made the trip to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday evening for the first night of the Bayou Classic with the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Series.
Shirley finished 11th in the opener before earning a strong Top-5 finish on Saturday. Brian picked up a heat race win, started third in the $50,000-to-win finale, and drove to a fifth-place finish behind Ryan Gustin, Bobby Pierce, Dennis Erb Jr., and Cody Overton.
Shirley is officially sixth in the World of Outlaw point standings heading into the World Finals.
