Brian Shirley and Bob Cullen Racing make 55th World 100 at Eldora Speedway

Kicking off the crown jewel weekend with twin $12,000-to-win preliminary nights, Brian Shirley joined a field of over 100 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) with his newly-wrapped Bob Cullen Racing No. 3S.

Shirley earned a spot in both of his features on preliminary nights as he ran 13th in the opener on Thursday before finishing 17th in the 25-lapper on Friday. Brian was able to take advantage of the six-car invert and pick up a heat race win on Saturday which slated him for the second-row in the 100-lap main event. Shirley faded outside the Top-10 just before halfway and wound up 16th.
