Shirley begins 2022 season at Volusia Speedway Park

Bob Cullen Racing and pilot Brian Shirley made the trek to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) to kick off the 2022 season on Thursday evening with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. On Friday afternoon, Brian followed up the fifth-fastest lap in his time trial group with a third-place finish in his heat. Slated to start the feature in ninth, late-night rain showers forced officials to postpone the feature to Saturday afternoon.

Overnight rain and unfavorable forecast postponed Friday’s feature to February 16th and wiped out Saturday’s program.
