Brian Shirley competes in Dairyland Showdown

Bob Cullen Motorsports trekked to Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) on Thursday afternoon with Brian Shirley competing with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for the Dairyland Showdown. Drawing 38 cars, Brian was an early retiree on the second circuit of his heat, sending him into the B-Main. For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Shirley clocked in seventh-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Losing six spots in the 40-lap feature, Brian recorded a 15th-place outing.

He was a scratch from Saturday’s program.
