Brian Shirley Kicks Speedweeks with All-Tech Stop

Brian Shirley opened his version of the 2021 Speedweeks with a stop at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla. After Mother Nature wiped out Friday night's program, the focus shifted to Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale. A field of 57 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries were set for battle.

After timing in third in his qualifying group, Brian grabbed a 10-lap heat race victory to lock into the fifth-starting position for the 50-lap main event. After battling amongst the Top-5 early on, Shirley faded to a 13th-place finish in the final rundown.
