Terminal Issues Continue at Fairbury

Tuesday night found Brian Shirley in action at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway for the "One for the Road." The unsanctioned mid-week speedway drew a stout field of 44 entries. Shirley qualified eighth in his group before grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race.

Brian was slated to start 16th in the $15,000-to-win main event unfortunately, continued engine problems forced him to load up and scratch from the feature.
