Mechanical Issues Halt Weekend Action in Tennessee

A band of 33 Super Late Models converged at the 1/4-mile bullring to battle for a $10,000 top prize. Shirley posted the eighth-fastest lap in his qualifying group, earning him the fourth starting position for his 10-lap heat race. Unfortunately, mechanical issues during the heat race would end Brian's night and weekend early.
