Shirley Posts Top Five Finish In Rain Shortened Run At Mississippi Thunder Speedway

FOUNTAIN CITY, WI. (May 7, 2023) On track for the 32nd time in 2023, Brian Shirley captured his sixth overall top five finish at Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Thursday, May 4 with the World of Outlaws CASE Late Models.
Tied for third in tour standings after the rain shortened run, the Bob Cullen Racing No. 3s rolled out eighth in Qualifying Group A with a best time of 13.576-seconds putting him sixth fastest. Gridding the opening A-Feature the same, Shirley pulled the late race pass for a fourth place performance.
Looking ahead, the next stop for Shirley will be Friday, May 19 at Marion Center Raceway in Marion Center, Penn, for the Connor Bobik Memorial, and Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Penn. on Saturday, May 20 for Speed Palace Showdown. Both events are with the World of Outlaws CASE Late Models.
